Ni pengalaman peribadi saya semasa sewa motor di Kota Kinabalu dari Scooter Monkey. Saya pilih Scooter Monkey berbanding kedai sewa motor lain misalnya GoGO Sabah semuanya kerana motor dari Scooter Monkey semuanya MASIH BARU dan confirm SELAMAT DIGUNAKAN. Motor dari kedai sewa motor lain kebanyakan sudah lebih 1 tahun, agak uzur serta sudah nampak calar-calar maknanya sudah pernah terjatuh atau sudah pernah terlibat dalam kemalangan kecil semaa di sewakan. Tempat lokasi kedai Scooter Monkey juga mudah ditemui. Kedai diorang kat Wisma Sabah. Bangunan Wisma Sabah ni pula terletak bersebelahan dengan Suria Sabah shopping mall juga bersebelahan dengan Wisma Merdeka shopping mall. Kesemua motor milik Scooter Monkey diparking di bahagian luar Wisma Sabah dan dikunci dengan baik bagi mengelakkan kecurian. Sebelum masuk ke Wisma Sabah korang boleh nampak sendiri ada banyak motor di parking di bahagian luar berdekatan pintu masuk utama. So kalau korang menetap di hotel-hotel sekitar bandar KK korang boleh berjalan kaki menuju ke kedai Scooter Monkey untuk sewa motor. Proses nak sewa pun senang. Motor yang tersedia untuk di sewa di Scooter Monkey adalah motor Demak 135, SYMJet, Honda Beat (skuter), Yamaha Solariz (skuter), Honda CBR 250cc (motor besar) dan Kawasaki 250cc naked bike.

Wide range of well maintained two-wheels to be choose: from scooter, various type of 250cc motorcycle, and even a Harley ! I myself rent a CB250 for 3 days, had a great time with that nibble bike, and the entire process from booking, taking and returning the motorcycle is hassle-free. The owner and his wife is super friendly, had the honor to spend some quality time with them, totally can tell they are really passion in what they're doing; serving and providing their customer the best service possible. And such given service mentioned above is a very rare sight in Malaysia. I can assure you that Scooter Monkey is one of the best, if not, the best, two-wheel rental you can find in Malaysia. Before i forget, to Scooter Monkey; thank you so much for renting me your motorcycle! Really appreciate all the advice given too.

This place is awesome. Stop looking and use them. The lower end scoots start at 40rm, a few upgrade options add 10rm, and they may give you discount if you rent longer. The owner, atleast the person I believe is, was very helpful. He hooked us up with rain jackets, cell phone holder and ideas of what to do. We rented for 5 days, planned a fairly long journey, and we we returned them 1/2 day early he gave us money back for time not used. The scooters were like new and worked perfectly. The helmets fit well and were clean and safe.

This rental was by far the best I had in Asia already. The available scooters were all almost brand new (from 2km up to 200km only!) and we got ours for a very fair rate. Also the helmets provided where fitting and protecting perfectly. The protection was tested during our rental when a car hit us while driving. Luckily both of us only had minor injuries. After I informed the owner (Bonny) about the accident he offered to help within seconds and jumped in the car to meet us in hospital which was 2 hours away. He really took great care of us and was always more worried about us than his scooter! So if you are in KK and looking for a scooter to get around I highly recommend to rent it from Bonny!

Highly recommended - my wife and I were staying at a resort out-of-town and a scooter was the perfect (and most cost-effective) option to get in/out/around KK. The boss here - along with the other staff - is extremely helpful and a top class guy. Will definitely rent a scooter from here again next time we're in KK.

We had an extra 1.5 days at the end of our trip to Borneo and wanted to rent a scooter to see the area surrounding Kota Kinabalu. I was worried that the Yamaha 125cc we rented wouldn't have enough power, but it turned out to be perfect as the average speed on the interstate is only around 70 kmh. It was great to see the areas less travelled by tourists and the lesser frequented attractions like the Crocodile Farm, Ant House, and interior cities which are interesting but not typical destinations. Renting could not have been easier and the owner is extremely helpful with tips on what to see and provided GPS coordinates to a few locations not on Google Maps or Tripadvisor.
