⚠️ Precaution to Proton Owners / Future Customers ⚠️ I’m sharing this as a precaution based on my personal experience at Proton Platinum Lifestyle 4S (Bagan Ajam, Penang). My Proton X70 underwent a 100,000 km service (engine oil change) in August. However, upon reaching the next service interval(110,000 km on December). I changed the engine oil at external service centre, where the technician found that: -The oil drain plug and oil filter was extremely tight -Engine oil became unusually murky. This raised serious concerns on whether the engine oil was properly changed during the previous authorized service, which I had fully paid for. I escalated this issue to the service centre on 19 Dec 2025 and met with the Service Manager(I requested for engine oil compensation). After multiple follow-ups and no clear explanation, I was eventually advised to contact Proton HQ, as the service centre claimed the evidence did not support my concern. I trusted the authorized service centre because I value the Proton brand. My intention is not to accuse, but to share this experience so other owners can be more cautious—please check before exiting as the empty engine oil bottle doesn't mean they had changed your engine oil. All information shared above is factual.

This is a Proton outlet, selling and servicing Proton cars. They have a showroom here. They also have a workshop. Getting a Proton car is very convenient. They basically do A to Z here. The service department is very friendly and helpful. While waiting for the car to be done, customers can have a drink and snacks.

Worst service centre and manufacture. Took more than 2 months to claim insurance. If u got secondary car mybe not bigger issues. But what if that your only car? Terrible managements and staff. So hard to call them (number was always cant reach or unavailable). I need to check on about 3 times just to get update for my car. Waste my time and money. Also, lot of miscommunication / misinformation too. And they can be sarcasm, rude to u. Why dont u give a try and see yourself.
