Hertz Malaysia | Kuala Lumpur Downtown

I saw some negative reviews and I wondered why. My experiences with Hertz has been excellent. I booked the car through a 3rd party website but was able to reconfirm my booking with them through WhatsApp the day before. At the branch, the staff are very friendly and efficient. The process are very standard (including the deposit through credit card) which is similar to any car rental in this part of the world. I have only good words about them.

Rented a Hyundai Starex in KL and had a great experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional throughout. We had a minor issue with the splash shield rubbing against a tire, and they responded quickly and helped us sort it out without hassle. They were also very understanding when we returned the car a few hours late due to a timezone mix-up - really appreciated the kindness and flexibility. Highly recommend this rental company if you want reliable service and great customer support in Kuala Lumpur.

The car condition is extremely bad, the car is smelly and the car key is broken. Driving on the road choosing Hertz is dangerous cause you won’t know when will your car broken in the middle of the road. The staff is also very rude. We just wanna reflect there maybe some equipment not functional efficiently when we returning and he just simply said "I don’t care". Recommend all to check your fuel storage cause even you just added the fuel in the nearest fuel station and the car still stating not enough fuel.

This unethical company does not pay back your deposit. It has been six weeks now. Be careful renting from them, or be prepared to add the price of the deposit to your rental price, because that is the true price of your rental. Shocking.

The staffs are experienced to deal with customer need. and they are also kind and helpful.

wonderful experience for me booking for 3 days . did not expect to get a relatively new car with mileage of only 5k plus , guess i got lucky booked mine on klook website n the transaction was fast even when i arrive soho suite the guy was already waiting for me . he even called me to check if i was still collecting the car since i was a little behind schedule admin matters were settled pretty quick too within 10mins i was able to drive off . they DO NOT PROVIDE touch n go (TNG) card which is necessary if ur exiting KL premises using the expressways n travelling interstate but luckily i already got mine overall amazing service in my opinion , hassle-free n smooth process . returning the car is real simple too u can just park the car at soho suite n drop the keys in an accessible dropbox readily placed in the building
