Extremely disappointed with Hawk Rental in Kuala Lumpur. I had a confirmed booking for a car to be delivered at 8am. At 10pm the night before, I received a call from their staff telling me the car would only be delivered at 11am—because the previous customer extended their booking. When I said I needed the car at 8am as per the confirmation, the staff made it sound like I was being unreasonable. That’s not only unprofessional—it’s downright rude. A confirmed booking is a commitment, not a vague suggestion. Unreliable service, poor customer care, and no regard for the customer’s time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Personnel in charge namely Keith and Ramah.

Awesome prompt service from Hawk. Really appreciate the friendly staff guiding us through our first rental experience in JB. Would love to come back. Although, location is a challenge to find, do look for below photo for entrance to mall where their office is located.

I made a reservation through Auto Europe for a car rental from March 30th to April 1st, PFA attached voucher. Upon arrival, I was informed by Raymond that my booking had been canceled, allegedly by Auto Europe. He then urged me to make a direct booking with your company, which came at a significantly higher price compared to my original reservation made through Auto Europe, costing me 407 MYR for 2 days as opposed to the initial 230 MYR. I promptly reached out to Auto Europe to inquire about the cancellation. Trusting that I was provided with accurate information, I decided to proceed with the direct booking despite the increased cost. During the course of my rental, I extended the duration by 5 hours and returned the car around 4:30 pm on April 1st, for which I was informed I would be charged an additional 203 MYR. However, to my astonishment, I received an email from Auto Europe stating that my original booking had never been canceled and was still active. This revelation was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling misled and betrayed. As a result of this experience, I have lost trust in company's integrity and question the transparency of your business practices. It appears evident that my original booking was canceled to encourage me to book directly with HAWK company at a higher price, which is both unethical and unacceptable.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. Caught a cab from Woodlands and showed the driver address and he dropped us at the door. When asked doorman where Hawk Rent a Car was he escorted us straight to their door. Hawk Rent a Car was exceptional. Very helpful. Car had the best GPS system I have used. Forget Google Maps. Once you understood the names you could punch the details in. Car was clean and we both did a check of it. Hawk even let me borrow their touch n go card toll card for our trip which I topped up. Easy as. Got the list of numbers in case of emergency. Never needed. On return we checked over car and Hawk Rep called us a Grab at half the cost of a taxi. Explained to the driver where we needed to go and we pay driver. So helpful and sent us on our way with a smile and wave. Highly recommend Hawk Rent a Car based on our trip. Hard to find location in Johor Bahru? Just ask a local!

Ordered a car and when I reached, they told me my car was not available as it was already given to someone else. Huh?? At this point, they scrambled to find another car for me and after hours, I was given a old shoddy car that eventually broke down after I parked it. Had to call Hawk and they only sent a mechanic the next day. I had to call for a Grab back to my apartment lol.. In conclusion, even though the price may seem like a great deal, I would suggest people to avoid this place like the Black Plague.

Arrived 15 mins before the official return time. Nice staff was waiting for me and inspected the car. All good. She noticed a cut in the rear tire. We were lucky that the tire did not explode as we drove approx 1500 km in two weeks. Be aware that They have moved the JB office in the JO hotel opposite te Double Tree hotel.

Address given is not clear, very vaguely state location near a hotel. Should have given exact address as in the actual building name and unit number for ease. And to make matters worse, contact number given was an old number. I had to make few rounds around the area and also thoughts of scam came to mind when I was unable to call them. Despite all, I am satisfied with the condition of the car given. I requested for a GPS but upon collection was informed that their GPS is an old model and is not reliable, kind of trying to dissuade from providing the GPS.
